----마태복음 20:17-19----
17 예수께서 예루살렘으로 올라가려 하실 때에 열두 제자를 따로 데리시고 길에서 이르시되
18 보라 우리가 예루살렘으로 올라가노니 인자가 대제사장들과 서기관들에게 넘겨지매 그들이 죽이기로 결의하고
19 이방인들에게 넘겨 주어 그를 조롱하며 채찍질하며 십자가에 못 박게 할 것이나 제삼일에 살아나리라
----마태복음 26:1-5---
1 예수께서 이 말씀을 다 마치시고 제자들에게 이르시되
2 너희가 아는 바와 같이 이틀이 지나면 유월절이라 인자가 십자가에 못 박히기 위하여 팔리리라 하시더라
3 그 때에 대제사장들과 백성의 장로들이 가야바라 하는 대제사장의 관정에 모여
4 예수를 흉계로 잡아 죽이려고 의논하되
5 말하기를 민란이 날까 하노니 명절에는 하지 말자 하더라

17 [Jesus Predicts His Death a Third Time] Now Jesus was going up to Jerusalem. On the way, he took the Twelve aside and said to them,
18 "We are going up to Jerusalem, and the Son of Man will be delivered over to the chief priests and the teachers of the law. They will condemn him to death
19 and will hand him over to the Gentiles to be mocked and flogged and crucified. On the third day he will be raised to life!"

1 [The Plot Against Jesus] When Jesus had finished saying all these things, he said to his disciples,
2 "As you know, the Passover is two days away-and the Son of Man will be handed over to be crucified."
3 Then the chief priests and the elders of the people assembled in the palace of the high priest, whose name was Caiaphas,
4 and they schemed to arrest Jesus secretly and kill him.
5 "But not during the festival," they said, "or there may be a riot among the people."
